Pilot OK After Fiery Plane Crash At Heritage Airport (Photos, Video)

The pilot of a small plane escaped largely unscathed after his plane crashed then burst into flames at a Pennsylvania airport July 4.

The plane crashed in the left runway at the Heritage Field Airport in Limerick Township at 12:52 p.m., officials told Daily Voice.

The Perkiomen Township Fire Company, which assisted Limerick fire companies, still had its dashcam running after the Fourth of July parade, which captured the plane erupt in flames.

No further details were immediately released.
